Contact support
For help with VoltConnect, email voltconnect@voltconnects.io.
To help us investigate, include:
- a short description of what happened and what you expected;
- the screen or feature you were using;
- your iPhone model and iOS version;
- the VoltConnect app version, if available; and
- a screenshot with passwords, verification codes and other sensitive information removed.
Never send your password, one-time verification code, authenticator key or recovery credentials.
Sign-in and account access
If you cannot sign in:
- Confirm that your device has a working internet connection.
- Use the email address, phone number or supported provider used to create your account.
- Request a new verification code and use only the most recent code.
- Use password recovery where available.
- If the problem continues, contact support without sharing your password or verification code.
GitHub connection and project access
VoltConnect uses a linked GitHub identity for repository-backed project participation. Linking GitHub identifies your profile to project maintainers; it does not automatically grant project or repository access.
If GitHub linking does not complete:
- Start the GitHub connection again from the project or account screen.
- Complete authorisation in the secure browser window.
- Return to VoltConnect when prompted.
- Confirm that you are linking the intended GitHub account.
Project access requests may require maintainer approval. A pending request does not guarantee admission or repository write access.
Notifications and messages
If notifications are missing or delayed:
- Open iOS Settings, select Notifications, then select VoltConnect.
- Confirm that Allow Notifications is enabled.
- Open VoltConnect and check the Notifications tab for recent activity.
- Check your connection, then close and reopen the app to refresh your session.
Notification previews may be limited when content is no longer available or your access to a group, project or conversation has changed.
App Lock and device security
App Lock uses authentication available on your device to protect access to VoltConnect. If the app does not unlock, confirm that Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode is working, then try again. You can always sign out from the App Lock screen.
App Lock is separate from your VoltConnect sign-in method and two-factor authentication. Do not share device credentials or authenticator codes with support.
Groups, connections and projects
- Public groups can be viewed before joining, but discussion and member features may require membership.
- Some groups are private or invite-only, and available actions depend on your membership and access.
- Connection requests and messages are available only where the relevant account and safety controls permit them.
- GitHub remains the source of truth for repositories, issues, pull requests and merged contributions.
Safety and reporting
Use the reporting options available in VoltConnect to report an account, message or other content. You can also email voltconnect@voltconnects.io. Include enough information to identify the concern, but do not forward harmful or sensitive content unnecessarily.
Review the Child Safety Standards for child-safety reporting information. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
Privacy and account deletion
Read the Privacy Policy to understand how VoltConnect handles information. To permanently delete your account and associated data, follow the account deletion instructions.
